On June 24, the 2021 Anhui Private Enterprise High-Quality Development Summit was held in Hefei, co-hosted by the Anhui Economic Daily, the Anhui Provincial Public Relations Association, the New Huishang Research Center of Anhui University of Finance and Economics, and Anhui Economic Net. More than 100 attendees were present, including former Vice Chairpersons of the Standing Committee of the Anhui Provincial People’s Congress—Wu Changqi and Guo Wanqing—as well as former Vice Chairperson of the Anhui Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, Wang Heling, along with other veteran leaders, business executives, and experts and scholars.

June 24 On [date], jointly hosted by Anhui Economic News, Anhui Provincial Public Relations Association, the New Hui Merchants Research Center of Anhui University of Finance and Economics, and Anhui Economic Net, 2021 The High-Quality Development Summit for Private Enterprises in Anhui was held in Hefei. Attending the event were former vice chairpersons of the Standing Committee of the Anhui Provincial People’s Congress, including Wu Changqi and Guo Wanqing, as well as Wang Heling, former vice chairman of the Anhui Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, along with other veteran leaders, entrepreneurs, and experts and scholars. 100 More than ten people attended the meeting.
At the summit, awards such as the Top Ten Brand Enterprises—Excellence Award, the Top Ten Brand Enterprises—Quality Award, and the Top Ten Brand Figures—Contribution Award were announced one by one, followed by an award ceremony. Notably, Jiang Daoyou, Chairman of Shenghua Group, was honored with the “Top Ten Brand Figures of Anhui (Contribution Award),” while Shenghua Group was recognized as a “Top Ten Brand Enterprise of Anhui (Excellence Award).”
In 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic dealt a severe blow to many brick-and-mortar enterprises. As a pioneer and leading force in Anhui Province’s paper industry, Shenghua Group, under the leadership of Chairman Jiang Daoyou, seized opportunities amid the upheaval to forge new paths and achieve growth against the tide, posting robust year-on-year increases across all key performance metrics. Through the “Economic and Information Rule-of-Law Publicity” campaign—centered on “optimizing the rule-of-law environment to serve the private sector”—and the High-Level Dialogue on Private Enterprises—focused on “ensuring a strong start for the private sector and ushering in a new phase of Anhui’s economic development”—participants jointly explored innovative pathways for high-quality private-sector development in line with the requirements of high-quality development during the 14th Five-Year Plan period.
The awards of “Top Ten Brand Figures in Anhui (Contribution Award)” and “Top Ten Brands and Top Ten Enterprises in Anhui (Excellence Award)” represent a full recognition of Shenghua Group’s core brand competitiveness and overall strength. Chairman Jiang Daoyou stated that he will take this as an opportunity to champion the entrepreneurial spirit in economic development, serve as a pioneer in high-quality growth and a responsible corporate citizen, and lead Shenghua Group in writing a new chapter of sustainable, innovative, and high-quality development, thereby contributing to the building of a modern and prosperous Anhui.
